Day 1: Welcome to Casablanca.
Welcome to Morocco, I am sure you are on this page reading this because you are looking for new adventures, and let me tell you, YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT PLACE!
Behold for the best adventures you could ever have starring Morocco and its best natural thresholds and landscapes and the tasty traditional food plant and animal-based, and let’s not forget the extremely detailed and colorful architecture that would make you curious about the stories behind it.
All this and much more is planned for you to ease you through this one in a lifetime adventure, starting by you arriving at the international airport of Casablanca where you are going to start this experience and get a taste of the Moroccan culture.
Day 2: Explore Casablanca and Rabat.
Start this day with a tasty Moroccan breakfast with the famous traditional mint tea spiking your taste buds with the freshness of the organic mint used in every cup you drink and a bunch of other traditional pastries all made from scratch to serve you the best experience of Moroccan food.
And now that you are full of fuel to arrive at our first stop of the day: Hassan II Mosque this beautifully detailed landmark overlooking the Atlantic ocean where people pray on a floor made out of clear glass that gives a view of praying over the ocean -OMG GOOSEBUMPS-. Our next stop is going to be at the capital of Morocco: Rabat.
Visiting the beautiful Hassan II tower that would make your jaw drop with the intricate designs of the tower and its intriguing surroundings, and on right on the opposite side of the tower lies the tomb of the king Mohammed V and his two sons, you will be entranced with the bright gold-leaf ceilings and the captivating carvings inside the plain white building
. And of course visiting the famous Kasbah des Oudaias, a beautiful calm and peaceful place with incredible views of the ocean.
Day 3: Chefchaouen
Morocco is known for its beautiful use colors and the next city we are going to visit Chafchaouen and also known as the “blue pearl” for its location in the Rif Mountains and the blue colors of its buildings and its streets and I don’t know about you but this is just about enough to make you curious to go deeper in the city to discover the charm of the old medina where you can buy some beautifully hand-made souvenirs from local shops in the maze-like streets.
Also, we are going to discover the Cascades d’Akchour which is this beautiful crystal clear waterfall where you can enjoy a cool dip to escape the heat of the day or just simply admire the majestic waterfalls.
Day 4: Road to Fez.
On our fourth day, we will be heading to Fez via Mekness the imperial city which is our next stop in this tour.
In Meknes we will visit a lot of landmarks to admire the detailed architecture and the history behind each one of them such as Bab Mansour, Borj Belkari, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail … and the beautiful gates with detailed colors and designs and of course visit the main square in Mekness: place Hedim. We will have lunch there and then head to Fez to relax and get ready to explore this rich city on the next day.
Day 5: Explore Fez.
After getting your hours of beauty sleep, we are going to head outside and get in the heart of Fez and learn about the cultures and the extremely old monuments like the 9th century Karouine Mosque which is pretty fascinating not only by how old it is or how beautiful it is on the inside but also with the amount of history it holds since it is the very first university worldwide.
We would also see other monuments like the Madrassa Bounania, the famous tanneries, the tombs of this city founder “Moulay Idriss II”, and many more shops that make a lot of handmade traditional products and let’s not forget the museums that contain the history and the old stories of this city.
Day 6: Fez to Todgha Gorges.
Your trip begins at 7.30 am to your destination that is Todra Gorges. Starting by visiting Ifrane that is also known as “the Moroccan Switzerland” for its beautiful nature and buildings that match in colors sighing relief to the visitors. This leads us to our next natural stop: the Cedar forests and Azrou where you can enjoy the views of nature, the refreshing breeze of clean air, and the silliness of the local monkeys!
The trip so far must’ve made you a little hungry for Morocco food, so our next stop is going to be for a lunch break in Zaida –a small Berber village- where you can enjoy the deliciousness of local organic meals that you’ll never get enough of.
Afterward, our trip is going to lead us through the fascinating Atlas Mountains, Midelt, and then Imilchil where you can enjoy the epic views that Mother Nature provided for us and then we are going to arrive at our final stop in Todra Gorges where we are going to dine and spend a night of rest to begin the next part of our journey.
Day 7 : Todgha Gorges to Merzouga.
Our next day begins with a mouth-watering Morocco local breakfast with the tastiest dishes. After satisfying our taste buds we are going to start the next part of this journey to arrive at Merzouga which is going to include plenty of natural stops all along the road at different Berber villages such as Tinjdad, Jorf, Erfoud…
leading to Merzouga, where the gold-like sands await. Upon arrival, a 45 minutes camel trekking experience is going to be waiting for us to explore the desert in the dunes of Erg Chebbi to reach our camp, where we are going to spend the night stargazing the clear starry sky while enjoying the relaxing beats of Berber drums.
Day 8: 4*4 excursion – Camel trekking and Night Desert Tent.
On this day we are going to start our 4*4 excursion and get a hold of the natural views and visit plenty of historical monuments to get to know a little about the culture and of course, listen to the traditional Gnawa music while enjoying the local mint tea and the performance of the singers, we would also see some Berber nomads and the beautiful oasis of tall and green palm trees.
After saturating your sight and your ears we will head back to Merzouga for lunchtime. After that, we would head for our camel trek experience in the desert specifically in the Dunes of Erg Chebbi for about 45min and then go back to our desert camp to dine and spend the night in those beautiful colorful tents and also enjoying the stars and losing yourself in the show of the celestial vault next to the bonfire.
Day 9-10: Merzouga to Marrakech.
This day’s trip starts with a drive from Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate to enjoy the architecture of these two cities that hold a lot of history within each of its walls.
And our trip doesn’t end just yet, we are going to visit the Roses Valley and Sakoura village for all of you natural-organic product seekers would not want to get out of that place.
Our lunch will take place at a local restaurant at Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (a very important world heritage according to UNESCO) and then our trip continues through Tizi nTichka and the High Atlas Mountains ending in your hotel/riad in Marrakech later in the afternoon.
Day 11: Explore Marrakech.
For this day we are going to explore Marrakech city with a local guide. We will visit the main sites of Marrakech including the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Minaret, the Bahia Palace, Majorelle gardens and admire the beauty of nature mixed with architecture.
Then, the old Medina of Marrakech, Coranique School, Berber arts, Artisans, Museum, colorful Souks with every kind of spice you have in mind, The day will finish with a sunset drink overlooking the Jamaa El Fna square, a view that is so soothing and relaxing.
Day 12: Explore Essaouira.
Today we will be leaving Marrakech to head toward the Atlantic City: “Essaouira” since it’s a city overlooking the Atlantic Ocean providing a breathtaking view especially at golden hours.
Next, we will witness and maybe participate in the process of making the Moroccan most famous natural oil -Argan oil- in a local cooperative. After that, we will dive deep into the old city of Essaouira and explore its castles and enjoy the view of the ocean.
Day 13: Essaouira back to Casabalanca.
After this extremely rich adventure exploring this beautiful city and its views, we will pack our bags and head back to Casablanca via Safi, Oualidia, and other small cities on the Moroccan Atlantic Ocean and enjoy the flavors of fresh seafood dishes before arriving in Casablanca which is our last destination in this trip.
Day 14: Casablanca– Airport
And this is where we part. Our driver is going to pick you up and take you to the airport.
