6 Days Tour FromMarrakech To Agadir Via Chegaga Desert

Day 1 – Marrakech – Sidi Ifni

Your trip begins in the charming city on the Atlantic coast Agadir and continues to the seaside town of the city that was before under the Spanish colonization Sidi Ifni, passing through the historic city of Tiznit, a tiny settlement founded by the king Hassan I around 140 years ago in the year of 1881 and known for its jewelry old stylish market where you might some of the really old coins for example as well as swords and many other old silver products, we will be spending this night in the city of Sidi Ifni.

Day 2 – sidiifni – Amtodi

Following breakfast, we depart Sidi Ifni for the city of Guelmim; the city that is called the Desert Portal. We will be driving the entire length of the white sheet then take a diversion to the depths into Guelmim until we arrive at the small village Amtodi, the village that is home to the ‘Agadir n’Aiss’ old Kasbah that was built back in the 12th century before around 800 years.

Day 3 – Amtodi – Tafraout

We will be leaving this region after viewing the Amtodi site and go to the lovely Village of Tafraout through the Ait Mansour gorges, in this place every image or picture you capture is a work of art. We will be spending this night in the city of Tafraout.

Day 4 – Tafraout – Tata

We follow the route to Tata after touring the Tafraout village and the surrounding valley. We pass the Amel valley, which is located at the bottom of DjbelLkest and has a significant number of tiny settlements with lots of beautiful springs, small oases and water. We will also visit the blue spring of Annamer and view the rocks that we shaped geologically in such unique shapes such as “the lion’s head” and the traditional old Omesnate’s home. Following that, we’ll pass via the villages of Idawbalou, Tazegzawtt and Tizgui.

Day 5 – Tata – Erg Chegaga

This we will be heading from the city of Tata to the magnificent dunes that are called the Chegaga sand dunes, via Tissint and the village of Foumzguid. When you reach at the entrance of the Chegaga desert, you’ll be riding the dromedaries’s backs to the camp in the dunes inside the desert, where you can watch the magnificent view of the sunset behind the dunes.

Day 6 – Erg Chegaga – Agadir

This will be the last day of your joyful journey. That’s why we will be departing Zagora and heading to the city of Ouarzazate, where we will visit some of the city’s cultural and historical attractions, including the Taourirte Kasbah, the city’s cinema museum, and its massive studio, before continuing to the UNESCO world heritage site Fortress or Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, and from there returning to the city of Agadir via another historical city of Taroudante.
