7 Days Tour To Agadir Via Chegaga Desert From Marrakech

Day 1 – Agadir – Tafraout

Our 7-day Agadir Chegaga Desert tour begins in the lovely city of Agadir and continues to the tourist village of Tafraout with its colorful rocks. The journey leads us via the town of AitBaha, where we will stop to see Tizourgane’s magnificent Kasbah. A Kasbah displaying Berber architecture and old residents’ defensive techniques, the kasbah is constructed on a hill with a clear view of the entire valley, preventing any surprise attack. In Tafraout, we’ll spend the night.

Day 2 – Tafraout

We will have ample time on the second day to visit the region and surrounds of Tafraout, a tiny community of around 5,000 people. Several tiny settlements dot the valley, each with magnificent Kasbahs, beautiful rock carvings, and old irrigation systems.

Day 3 – Tafraouat – Tata

On the third day, we leave Tafraout and go to Tata, passing through numerous Berber settlements and tiny oasis along the way.

Day 4 – Tata – Chegaga

After breakfast, we depart Tata for our main destination: the Chegaga sand dunes and the magnificent desert. The most magnificent dunes in the nation, with a height that occasionally surpasses 300 meters, may be found here, providing an amazing vista. You’ll ride camels to the tent in the middle of the dunes, where you’ll be treated to a spectacular sunset.

Day 5 – Chegaga – Zagora

After breakfast, we leave the lovely dunes of Chegaga behind us and return to civilisation by arriving at the first town of M’hamid, followed by a journey through the magnificent palm grove of Zagora.

Day 6 – Zagora

We leave the lovely dunes and follow the way to M’hamid, the final town on the paved road, before continuing through the Draa forest to Zagora, where we will spend the night.

Day 7 – Zagora – Agadir

We go from Zagora to Ouarzazate, where we will see the Kasbah of Taourirte and the film museum, as well as the walled town of Aitbenhaddou, which has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. To conclude our journey, we go to Agadir through Taznakht after Aitbenhaddou.
