9 Day Morocco Tour Package From Marrakech To Tangier Via Fez And Casablanca

Day 1 : ARRIVAL To MARRAKECH

We will be meeting and greeting you at the international Airport of Marrakech. We will pick you up from the airport in Marrakech and head into your lodgings in a Riad, which is located in the center of the historic famous old medina. Staying the night at your riad/hotel.

Day 2 : EXPLORING MARRAKECH

You will begin your exploration of Marrakech, widely known as “The red city of Morocco” and the most famous touristic Moroccan city, after breakfast in your Riad. You will be meeting an official local guide that will make sure you see and explore the different and very important cultural and historical touristic attractions, such as the old Saadian tombs, the beautifully architected Palace of El Bahia, the other palace of El Badii, and the old Ben Youssef’s Koranic School. You lunch is going to be served at a traditional restaurant close to the Jamaa El Fana Square with its medieval atmosphere. You’ll spend the rest of the day exploring Mernara and Majorell’s beautiful gardens, as well as the old Koutoubia Tower. You will be staying the night in a Riad where you’ll also have dinner.

Day 3 : MARRAKECH – AIT BEN HADDOU – OUARZAZATE – ROSES VALLEY – DADES GORGES

Following the breakfast meal in your Riad, you will be traveling to the gigantic Dades Gorges, passing through the Atlas High Mountains then the ‘TiziN’tichka’ mountain pass, the highest road pass in Morocco at 2260 meters, in this place we’ll be also stopping in different panoramic views to snap some beautiful photographs. Then we’ll go to one of Morocco’s oldest and most magnificent Kasbahs, AitBenhadou the biggest Kasbah in Morocco, a 16th-century Kasbah that has been designated as a Unesco World Heritage Site, where we’ll have the lunch in a restaurant in the surrounding. Following that, we’ll go the city that is called the Hollywood of Africa in which a lot of famous productions were shot such as Gladiator, GOT and Lawrence of Arabia, we’ll also pay a visit to the Atlas Cinema Studios, and the Kasbah of Taourirt. Then we’ll travel to the Valley of Roses, passing through what is known for the name of Road of the thousand Kasbahs. And the Dades Valley is where you’ll spend the night and have dinner.

Day 4 : DADES GORGES – TODRA GORGES – ERFOUD – ERG CHEBBI – MERZOUGA

Following breakfast , we’ll drive to the Gorges of Todra which are the largest and biggest Moroccan gorges, which are famed for Climbing rocks due to its 300-meter-high granite walls in a limited section. Here, you’ll be having a walk in order to feel and smell the true nature of lush agricultural areas and a broad river. We’ll continue on to Erfoud, which is known for its marble fossils, where you’ll get the option to visit a Marble fossiles workplace and learn more about them. We will be arriving in Merzouga in the evening and find the camels that will be waiting for us in order to begin our walk across the dunes of sand to the campsite in the heart of desert where we will observe the sand different formations, we’ll then have dinner, listen to some native Berber music of drum around our camp’s campfire then spend the night.

Day 5 : CAMEL TREK AND SUNRISE – ZIZ VALLEY – ZIZ GORGES – MIDELT – IFRANE – FES

You will be waking up very early in this day’s morning in order to catch a glimpse of the desert’s beautiful sunrise across the huge dunes, after that return to the hotel on our camel rides. We will depart for Ziz valley after a delicious Moroccan breakfast and a shower, where we’ll surely be stoping for you to appreciate the beautiful stunning view of the palm oases of Ziz and the famous Ziz gorges. You will be having your lunch in the city of Apples Midelt; a city in the middle of the mountains, and then we’ll go to the beautiful Azrou via the Middle Atlas Mountains and the huge cedar forest that surrounds it, which is the biggest of its kind in Morocco, where we’ll come across the Barbarian monkeys eager to be fed. We’ll be stopping at Ifrane, a European-styled city often known as Morocco’s Switzerland, for a rest before continuing on to Fes. We’ll be arriving in Fes in the evening for an overnight stay and dine at your  Riad.

Day 6 : FEZ FULL DAY GUIDED TOUR

Following your breakfast in the Riad, you’ll begin discovering Fes’s medieval medina in the company of a local expert tour guide, stopping for sure at the Royal beautiful Palace golden gate, also the Jewish headquarters that was constructed in the 15th century before 600 years and that is in fact  the first ever Mellah that was built in old kingdom of Morocco, not forgetting the oldest university in the world Al Qarawiyin university, the oldes Tanneries in the world, and the Moulay Idriss’s holy mausoleum which is the medina’s holiest place, all this places are among the schedule of the day. We’ll also take use of the vehicle to take in the Medina’s magnificent vistas. At the Riad, you’ll stay the night and have dinner.

Day 7: FES – MEKNES – RABAT – CASABLANCA

We’ll begin travelling to the biggest city in Morocco through the cities of Meknes then Rabat after breakfast at your Riad. We will be visiting The iconic gate of Bab El Mansour which is considered as one of the world’s biggest gates, the SahrijSouani that goes back to the medieval ages, and the holy Mausoleum of the legend Moulay Ismael the legendary king of Morocco in the 18th century, this touristic attractions may all be found in Meknes. Following that, we’ll travel to Rabat. The Chellah necropolis, the old Kasbah Oudaya that was one of the Moorish ancient world’s wonders, considering its magnificent minaret left incomplete when its builder died before finishing it at 1199. We’ll be arriving in Casablanca in the evening. The hotel is where you will spend the night.

Day 8 : CASABLANCA – RABAT – CHEFCHAOUEN

We will go to the city of Chefchaouen through Rabat after breakfast in your hotel. The city that is known as the  ‘Blue Town’, where there are traditional shops selling tourist souvenirs, the shoes repairs, different groceries, sweets and stationery, tailors that sew some elegant beautiful djellabas, the butchers and the bakers, it’s just one of the life centers in every area, as well as the candles makers that do not appear to survive, you’ll simply observe the simple lifestyle as the habitants of Chaouen city lives it. Also, we’ll visit the new city, that features some magnificent andalusian  architecture and the beautiful park in the edge of Mohammed V avenue.

Day 9: CHEFCHAOUEN – TANGIER

We’ll be picking you from your Riad after breakfast to take you on a tour in Chefchaouen city, the charming city with white washed buildings and the blue colored windows and doors. Not like the other Morocco regions, Chefchaouen town was occupied by the Spanish colonization, that’s why the Spanish culture and architecture can be very well noticed everywhere in this city. Then we’ll take you straight to Tangier and leave you off at your hotel, airport, or port, bringing our services to an end.
